J.A. Nousek (Penn State), Swift Team

We report on the latest status of the Swift mission. Operations are conducted from the Swift Mission Operations Center, located at Penn State University. The Swift instruments consist of the Burst Alert Telescope, which detects new GRBs, provided by the Goddard Space Flight Center; the X-Ray Telescope, provided by Penn State and including major contributions from the University of Leicester (UK) and the Astronomical Observatory of Brera (Italy); and the UV-Optical Telescope, provided by Penn State with major contributions from the Mullard Space Sciences Laboratory (UK).

We summarize the status of the ground operations (including the Malindi tracking station provided by Italy); the status of the observatory; and the status of each of the instruments.

Funding for the Swift program at Penn State is provided by NASA under the contract NAS5-00136.
