We present preliminary results from the Deep Lens Survey (DLS) shear-selected cluster search. The DLS is a deep BVRz' weak lensing survey of 20 square degrees, which will produce a sample of ~ 100 shear-selected clusters. We base the lensing analysis on the R band images, which have strictly controlled image quality, and we use the other filters to derive photometric redshifts for ~ 3 million sources. We present mass maps of several 2 degree by 2 degree fields, yielding a preliminary sample of 18 clusters spanning the redshift range 0.2-0.7. For a few of these clusters, we present more detailed mass maps and tomographic lensing analyses.

Our followup focuses on the X-ray and optical properties of these clusters, which may reveal biases in existing X-ray and optically selected samples. Chandra and/or XMM X-ray observations are soon to be complete for the first fifteen clusters from the sample, and we present mass and X-ray maps of some individual clusters.
