We are developing a set of southern hemisphere photometric standards for use with the u’g’r’i’z’ filter system, as defined by the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. As part of this work, we present a subset of the southern standards; those in the E-Regions. The E-Regions, defined by Harvard Observatory, are located at a declination near 45 degrees south and are well placed for southern hemisphere observers. In fact, some stars in these regions are also used as standard stars in the Johnson-Cousins UBVRI filter system. Therefore, standardizing some of these same stars, ranging in magnitude from 10 < r’< 16, in the u’g’r’i’z’ system, will benefit both medium and small telescope programs, provide a useful resource to the astronomical community, and further the development of the u’g’r’i’z’ system.
