AGES, The AGN and Galaxy Evolution Survey, is a spectroscopic survey of the Bootes NOAO Deep Wide Field. In 2004 we obtained spectra of roughly 10,000 galaxies and 1000 AGN using the MMT and the Hectospec wide-field fiber spectrograph. The present sample includes complete galaxy samples at 24, 8, 5, 4 and 3 microns in the IR using samples from the Spitzter satellite and R and B samples from the NDWFS survey. The AGN are selected either as XBootes X-ray sources or as 24 micron sources with non-stellar colors. The median redshift of the galaxies is roughly 0.25 and the median redshift of the AGN is roughly 1.0. We illustrate the present sample and some initial scientific results.
