A. Rest (NOAO/CTIO), SuperMACHO Collaboration
We present a review of the status of and report results from SuperMACHO, a next-generation microlensing survey of the Large Magellanic Cloud. Our goal is to ascertain the nature of the population responsible for the microlensing rate detected by the MACHO collaboration (Alcock et. al ApJ 2000 542, 257). In December 2004 we will complete our fourth year of survey operations. We present this years best candidates lightcurves and follow-up observations.
