We have obtained deep near-infrared images of the preprotostellar core B133. By observing the colors of background stars (i.e., the {\it{NICE}} method), we have constructed a high-resolution extinction map that shows an elongated core with size of ~9\times4\prime for the Av > 5 region. The map shows a sharply increasing extinction profile toward the central regions of the globule, ultimately revealing two distinct condensations with peak visual extinction of at least 50 magnitudes. We present these observations and compare them with previously published molecular-line and dust continuum observations.
