[41.01] Gas Dynamic in Perseus

S. Schnee (Harvard University)

As part of the COMPLETE (COordinated Molecular Probe Line Extinction Thermal Emission) survey of star forming regions, targeting Perseus, Ophiuchus, and Serpens, we have obtained a Nyquist sampled map (40" resolution) of the entirety of Perseus in 12CO(1-0) and 13CO(1-0). In addition, we have mapped several cores, with and without stars, in N2H+(1-0) and CS(1-0) with the FCRAO 14m dish. Here we present the first results of the gas dynamics in Perseus from the COMPLETE survey, covering a range of scales from the velocity gradient across the entire molecular cloud to the rotational energy in individual cores.
