We present optical and infrared hydrogen emisison line ratios for several hundred HII regions in NGC 6946, NGC 2403, and NGC 300. These ratios were determined using narrow band images of these galaxies.

The purpose of this project was to investigate whether the infrared emission lines observed are concistent with Case B recombination theory. The results of this investigation will be presented along with a comparison to Case C recombination theory.
