[21.03] Recent Results Concerning the Variability of AGN Warm Absorbers

We present recent results from a study of variability in warm absorbers (WA) in AGN. Recent studies (Kaspi et al. 2004, Gibson et al. in press) have suggested that structural variability (not simply changing ionization levels) of the WA in MR 2251-178 is implied by the changing X-ray spectra. Examining the variability of warm absorbers in high-resolution Chandra HETG spectra, we are finding strong additional evidence of WA structural complexity in other AGN. We report on our findings in this presentation.
