The GRAPES project has obtained the deepest slitless spectroscopy to date, using the ACS grism on the Hubble Space Telescope. These sensitive spectra allow us to obtain spectroscopic classifications and redshifts for extremely faint galaxies in the Hubble Ultra Deep Field (HUDF)--- to AB magnitudes fainter than 27. We have used these data to characterize several types of galaxy population: Lyman break and Lyman alpha galaxies at 4 < z < 7, old stellar populations at 0.5 < z < 2.5 , and emission line galaxies at z<1.5. In this poster, we discuss galaxy evolution as traced by this rich data set. We concentrate especially on our Lyman break samples, which achieve lower luminosities than any previous spectroscopically confirmed Lyman break sample, and are supplemented by still fainter photometrically selected samples from the HUDF. We also summarize our results on elliptical galaxies and emission line galaxies, which span the epoch when star formation peaked in the universe. (The reduced data is now publically available)
