We have obtained FLAMES spectra of ~80 stars in the field of each of the globular clusters NGC 6388 and NGC 6441. These two clusters stand apart from all other Galactic globular clusters in that their horizontal branches have blue extensions which are contrary to their high metallicities ([Fe/H]~-0.60). The spectra will be used to determine the chemical abundances for both clusters as well as the kinematic properties of their stars. Preliminary results will be presented.

This research was supported in part by the National Science Foundation through a CAREER award (AST 99-84073).
