AAS Annual Members Meeting

At the Annual Members Meeting, Councilors will outline new initiatives being made by the Society and lead a discussion on its roll in the broader issues being faced by the astronomial community. The Members Meeting is also the time and place for nominations for candidates to run for the Society's Nominating Committee, which itself selects candidates for the election of Officers and Councilors of the AAS. Here is your chance to affect the course of the Society's future. Whom would you like to see serving on the Nominating Committee? Come prepared to nominate. Just be sure to get the agreement of the person you nominate first! And, we confess, the Annual Members Meeting is also the business meeting of the Society. Officers will report on the financial health of the AAS and its operations. We'll keep that brief!
