[113.14] X-Ray Source Environments in the Dwarf Starbust Galaxy NGC1569

We use deep J and Ks observations of the dwarf starburst galaxy NGC1569 acquired with FLAMINGOS on the KPNO-4m telescope together with Chandra X-ray coordinates to make an IR/X-ray astrometric frame-tie. Using this frame-tie, we search for IR cluster counterparts to X-ray sources. Measuring J and Ks photometry on all clusters in NGC1569, we investigate the photometric properties of the IR counterparts by comparing clusters with X-ray sources to the general population. Our analysis includes a comparison with results found in a similar study performed on the Antennae galaxies (NGC4038/9).
