[151.07] The Gamma-Ray Burst catalog of the High Energy Transient Explorer (HETE)

R. Vanderspek (MIT Kavli Institute), HETE Team

The High Energy Transient Explorer (HETE) GRB catalog consists of over 220 gamma-ray bursts detected by the Fregate, WXM, and/or SXC instruments during the first five years of the HETE mission. We present a summary of the characteristics of these bursts, including duration distributions, spectral lags, and hardness distributions. We highlight the ability of HETE to detect low-energy features in GRB prompt emission as well as the placement of HETE bursts on the Eiso-Epeak (aka "Amati") relation.
