C. J. Lonsdale (Caltech), SWIRE Team
The Spitzer Wide-area InfraRed Extragalactic (SWIRE) survey has a volume of space at a z=1 which is equivalent to that of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey at low redshift. SWIRE has surveyed almost 50 square degrees of high latitude sky in all seven Spitzer imaging bands, with almost complete optical ground-based imaging in 3 to 5 bands from many of the major observatories around the world. Complete imaging and catalog data sets have been released to the community. I will present some of the highlights from SWIRE, including extremely massive and luminous high z ULIRGs and QSOs, Compton thick obscured QSOs, and moderate redshift large scale structures.
