We report recent and historical light cures for the eclipsing binary star 44i Bootes. Contemporary measurements were taken with a newly acquired 16” Ritchey-Chretien Telescope and SBIG ST-8 CCD camera. Data were analyzed with MIRA astrophotometry software. We calculate exact times of the primary or secondary eclipse. Comparing to historical data we show that the period of 44i continues to lengthen at a rate of 0.014 seconds per year. We interpret this in terms of mass transfer from the smaller to the larger star. We observed, over and above lengthening of the period, a 66-year oscillation.
