[11.10] Doppler modulation of hydrogen-like iron emission from Cygnus X-3

M.C. Kaczmarczik, M.J. Stark (Lafayette College)

In previous work we studied the Doppler modulation of various emission lines in the X-rays from Cygnus X-3. This analysis revealed an interesting ionization structure in the stellar wind of this source. We extend this analysis with additional data and focus on the study of Fe XXV lines which should reveal the location the most intense phtoionization of the wind, presumably near the X-ray source.
