The galaxy angular power spectrum, Cl, is a powerful tool to probe the large scale structure and to constrain cosmological parameters (Cooray et al. 2001; Tegmark et al. 2002; Blake et al. 2004). Here, we construct the galaxy angular power spectrum within redshift shells extending beyond z=1 using the catalogues produced from the FLAMEX survey (FLAMINGOS Extragalactic Survey). We employ a spherical harmonic analysis (Peebles 1973; Blake et al. 2004) that incorporates the appropriate window functions describing the partial sky coverage. The FLAMEX survey will eventually covers about 7 square degrees using the deep J and Ks band imaging with corresponding multiband optical coverage available from NDWFS (the data reduction of the Bootes region is completed). Preliminary results will be presented.
