The MUltiwavelength Survey by Yale-Chile (MUSYC) covers one square degree of the sky with deep near-infrared and optical imaging, as well as some Chandra, XMM, Hubble, and Spitzer coverage. As part of this project, we have analyzed the X-ray properties of objects in the extended Chandra Deep Field South (ECDFS), including Lyman Break Galaxies (LBG) and Lyman Alpha Emitters (LAE). A fraction are detected individually due to the presence of active galactic nuclei (AGN), but most are too X-ray faint to detect as individual sources, even in very deep exposures. Subsequently, we performed X-ray stacking analysis on these remaining, optically selected, 76 LAE and 1240 LBG in order to determine their average X-ray properties. This analysis provided an effective integrated exposure time of 17 Ms for the LAE and 233 Ms for the LBG. We present the average X-ray flux of these sources and discuss their implications for star formation.
