We introduce the Delaware Asteroseismic Research Center (DARC). DARC is an international collaboration headquartered at Mt. Cuba Observatory (Greenville, DE) in cooperation with the University of Delaware. DARC focuses on the study of short period variables (periods ranging from tens to several thousand seconds) using the techniques of high speed differential photometry. The classes of objects exhibiting this range of periods include pulsating white dwarfs, sdB pulsators, \delta Scuti stars, roAp stars, and cataclysmic variables. DARC's science interests range from asteroseismology of white dwarfs, sdBs, and main sequence stars, to period stability, to probing the characteristics of convection through nonlinear interactions. We outline DARC's structure, scientific goals, and observing techniques. We discuss the problems and advantages of combining data from a range of telescopes and detectors.
