The VVDS (Virmos-VLT Deep Survey)-DEEP has obtained the spectroscopy of 9858 objects up to an unprecedented depth (IAB = 24) in the 1 square degree 0226-0430 field. Deep UBGVRIZ photometry (either from VVDS or the CFHT Legacy Survey) over the whole field and J&K photometry over a smaller area is available.
The SWIRE-XMM field at the same coordinates has been observed down to ~5 microJy (5 sigma) at 3.6 and 4.5 microns and ~ 40 microJy at 5.8 and 8.0 microns, as well at MIPS 24 microns observations down to ~ 250 microJy. The common photometric area between VVDS and SWIRE area contains 52118 objects of which 4011 have been observed in spectroscopy, 3780 of them having a redshift between 0.1 and 3. This poster presents the overall multi-color and redshift distribution properties of this unique sample, as well as the first photometric redshifts using all photometry available.
