[115.12] The Quantum Efficiency of JWST Near-infrared Detectors

P. R. McCullough, M. Regan, D. Figer, K. Lindsay, E. Morse, H. Stockman (STScI), B. J. Rauscher (GSFC), R. J. Hill (SSAI)

We describe results from James Webb Space Telescope's NIRSpec detector testing program performed in the Independent Detector Testing Laboratory at STScI. The goal of the program is to make accurate measurements of detective quantum efficiency of a representative flight-like sensor chip assembly in the 3 to 5 micron wavelength region. An additional goal is to obtain monochromatic flat fields (R~100) from 0.4 um to 5.5 um of the same sensor. IDTL results will be contingent on the actual delivery date for an upgraded Rockwell Scientific 2k x 2k sensor, currently planned for late October 2005.
