[35.04] The Herschel Space Observatory: Observer Support and Tools

An introduction of proposal preparation and observation planning tools will be made. This will include Hspot and the interfaces to the Herschel observing modes (AOTs). How Herschel proposers will interact with Observer Support, and details of how proposals for observing time are to be submitted will be discussed. Opportunities for support for US-based observers via the NHSC will be identified.
