It is well known that the combination of the measurement of the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich and of x-ray observations of the cluster gas provide us with an independent measure of the distance to the cluster and hence the Hubble constant. In addition to the analysis of interferometric imaging of the Sunyaev Zel'dovich effect in Abell 1995 (z=0.318) as observed by by the Hat Creek (BIMA) and Owens Valley (OVRO) millimeter interferometers outfitted with 28.5 GHz recievers we analyze existing ROSAT HRI observations of this cluster, and estimate the cluster distance. Details of the distance calculation will be discussed including the relativistic corrections to the SZ effect and an accurate calculation of the observed x-ray emissivity. Finally, we will present simulations which reveal the ability of the upcoming Chandra observation to measure the radial temperature distribution within the cluster.
