The Rossi X-Ray Timing Explorer has revealed fast oscillations in low mass x-ray binaries with neutron stars: oscillations up to 1200 Hz thought to be from clumps in the inner disk and slower oscillations during X-ray bursts thought to be hot spots on the neutron star. Here I present new measurements of this phenomenon with RXTE and models which address such issues as the properties of the compact object, effects of strong field gravity and propcesses in the accretion flow.
