The young southern open cluster NGC 2516 was observed with the ACIS imaging array on the Chandra X-ray Observatory. The Chandra image has an order of magnitude better sensitivity than previously achieved with ROSAT and provide arcsecond positions. We detected about one hundred of X-ray sources, in which half of them are newly detected. 30 % of the sources we detected have no counterpart in optical or near infrared. We will report the source list and its optical/IR identifications, flux, hardness ratio, and time variability. Hardness ratios of most sources indicate temperatures higher than 1 keV, which suggests that X-ray activities in this cluster are rather resemble to those in the younger T Tauri phase than in the older phase like the Sun.
