K. Glazebrook (Johns Hopkins University), Two Degree Field Galaxy Redshift Survey Team
The Two Degree Field Galaxy Redshift Survey has now reached 100,000 redshifts, and has trebled the number of all known redshifts. My talk will focus on some key results to date from the survey focussing on the sub-area of galaxy properties in the survey: (i) the galaxy luminosity function, evolution and surface brightness distribution (ii) galaxy spectral classification (in particular AGN/starburst indices and prevalence of E+As)
