We have studied high-S/N (~200/pixel) high resolution (R ~ 20,000 ~ 2.5 pixels) WIYN/Hydra spectra of the Li region in proper-motion-selected solar-type main sequence members of the young (~ 100 Myr) open cluster NGC 2451, for the purpose of determining the cluster's metallicity. Previously, this cluster has been thought to be significantly metal-poor, about 1/3-solar. Instead, we find that it is slightly super-solar, near the Hyades metallicity. Reasons for this difference and implications are discussed.
