We present wide-field precision BVRI CCD photometry of one of the nearest metal-poor (1/3 solar metallicity) open clusters, NGC 2420, taken at the KPNO 0.9-meter telescope. The data have been analyzed using DAOPHOT's point-spread-function fitting techniques. The cluster reddening, distance, and age, are discussed. This data will be used in subsequent wide-field WIYN/Hydra spectroscopic studies.
