White dwarfs in quiescent dwarf novae could accrete via an Advection-Dominated Accretion Flow (ADAF), responsible for the X-ray Bremsstrahlung emission observed at temperatures ranging from a few keV to a few tens of keV. Spectral models for the continuum and line emission of an ADAF around a white dwarf are presented and the possibility of testing, with current instruments, the property of energy advection via the detection of X-ray lines formed in a flow with a sub-Keplerian rotation rate is emphasized.
