We have obtained a 27\,ksec observation of the radio-loud quasar PKS 1127-143 (z=1.18) using the ACIS-S instrument aboard the Chandra X-ray Observatory. In this paper we present the discovery of an X-ray jet which coincides with a previously known VLA radio jet in this source. The X-ray jet contains a total of 189 counts and has a position angle of ~42 degrees. The X-ray emission extends over ~20 arcsec from the quasar center and is shorter than reported VLA radio emission of 30 arcsec. We present the details our analysis of the X-ray and radio jets, and discuss the consequences for the theory of quasar jet outflows.
