[2.19] Summary of all Centaurus A Observations with CGRO COMPTEL

H. Steinle, W. Collmar, V. Schönfelder (MPE), K. Bennett (ESTEC/SSD), W. Hermsen (SRON), Jim Ryan (UNH)

During more than 9 years in orbit on board the Compton Gamma-Ray Observatory (CGRO), COMPTEL has observed the nearest active galaxy Centaurus A (Cen A, NGC 5128) during 40 CGRO pointings of various duration.

All those selected pointings had Cen A closer than 32 degrees from the center of the wide COMPTEL field-of-view and the total effective observing time was 60 days.

This wealth of data enable us to derive spectra with unprecedented significance in the COMPTEL energy band 0.8 - 30 MeV and to correlate those MeV spectra with different x-ray intensity states of Cen A.

A summary of all CGRO COMPTEL observations of Centaurus A will be given.
