[31.18] Chandra ACIS Observation of LMC X-1

The Chandra ACIS spectra of the black hole candidate LMC X-1 are presented and discussed. The spectra were obtained during the calibration phase of the mission. These spectra sample the nearly 4.2 day orbital period of LMC X-1.
