Within the last few years the SMC has been found to contain a very large population of pulsing X-ray sources. Almost all of these sources are transient and a number have been identified with Be star optical counterparts. We are undertaking a long term program using the RXTE PCA detector to monitor and discover X-ray pulsars in the SMC with an emphasis on the sources in the vicinity of SMC X-3. Through this monitoring we expect to be able to determine the orbital periods of a number of the systems. We present here a status report on our program including (i) the discovery of an outburst from SMC X-2 and the detection of 2.37 s pulses; and (ii) evidence for the presence of two new SMC pulsars with periods of 82.4 and 95.2 s.
