One year ago, we presented the first deconvolved X-ray images of SN1987A, made with the Chandra X-ray Observatory. The X-ray remnant of SN1987A was resolved into a shell-like SNR filling the interior of the optical inner ring imaged by HST (1.7 x 1.2 arcseconds in size). A second image made just after the Jan. 2000 AAS meeting apparently showed different structure in the X-ray ring, but the counting statistics were poor. We present a deep (100ks) Chandra image of SN1987A, made in November 2000. The new deconvolved image is compared with the previous two images and forms a baseline to detect changes in future Chandra images.
