We present here some FUSE results obtained on the HD survey. Up to now HD has been detected in more than one hundred lines of sight of the FUSE database. We discuss the observational uncertainties due to the partial saturation of HD transitions. Since in most of lines of sight, lines of HD are saturated, the determination of the b parameter is essential. We expose our method to constrain this value using optical data. Eight lines of sight containing translucent components with color excess ranging between 0.4 and 0.7 have been reduced. We present the fractional abundance HD/H2 as a function of the molecular fraction for the sample. Finally, we interpret the results with a chemical model adapted to the physics of translucent clouds which includes the detailed photodissociation of H2, HD and CO and the thermal balance.
