SIRTF, NASA's Space Infrared Telescope Facility, is gearing up for a 9 Jan 2003 launch! The General Observer Call for Proposals for Cycle 1 will be released in early November 2002, with proposals due in June 2003. SIRTF observations are planned and proposals are submitted through SPOT (SIRTF Planning Observations Tool). This poster reviews the capabilities of SIRTF and SPOT for the Solar System observer and describes aspects of proposal submission.
