[78.01] The Deep Lens Survey Data Release

D. Wittman (Bell Labs.), DLS Collaboration

The Deep Lens Survey is a deep BVRz' imaging survey of seven 2-degree by 2-degree fields, with all data to be made public. Three square degrees of data have already been released, and we encourage the community to use it. To that end, we describe here the data release (available at http://dls.bell-labs.com) and many of the details necessary to make use of the data, such as the basic parameters of the survey, an overview of the data reduction, and a description of the catalog and image formats and contents.
