We present the results of a study of molecular abundances in three infrared-dark clouds (IRDCs) identified in the Midcourse Space Experiment (MSX) Galactic plane survey. Isotopomers of CO, HCO+, CS, SO, N2H+, HCO2+, SO2, NH2D and HCN were observed using the NRAO/UASO 12m and JCMT telescopes. Molecular column densities are derived from the spectroscopic data. These column densities will be compared with the dust column densities independently derived from submillimeter emission and mid-infrared extinction. The depletion of molecular species as a function of grain volatility will be presented.
