[5.04] Properties of Local Group Analogs in Cosmological Simulations

J. Bailin (Steward Observatory), M. Steinmetz (Astrophysikalisches Institut Potsdam)

We have performed high-resolution cosmological N-body simulations of a volume of 32.5~h-1~Mpc comoving with 3203 particles. This resolution allows us to resolve halos down to 1010~M\odot. Local Group analogs are selected as pairs of halos with similar properties to the Milky Way and M31. We report on properties of these Local Group analogs and their constituent halos.
