[21.03] Wavelength Dependence of the ACS Coronagraphic PSF

W.B. Sparks (STScI), H.C. Ford (JHU), J. Krist, M. Clampin (STScI), D. Golimowski (JHU)

In principle, the wavelength dependence of diffraction and scattering structure in a space-based coronagraphic PSF can be used to good effect in removing the halo light of the host star (Sparks and Ford 2002). Here, we test application of this ``spectral deconvolution'' method using observations of the double brown dwarf near HD130948A with the Aberrated Beam Coronagraph on HST's Advanced Camera for Surveys.
