We detected 51 Jovian Trojan asteroids in the L4 Lagrangian swarm in a wide-field survey observation near the ecliptic with the 8.2m Subaru telescope. The survey area is about 3 deg2 and located ~30 deg ahead from the L4 point. The size range of the detected Trojans is 0.8 < D(km) < 13.7 in diameter (D). We noticed the change of the slope for the cumulative size distribution around D~5km. We also briefly estimate a total population number of the Trojans with D > 1km, compare the size distribution for our Trojans with that for small main-belt asteroids, and discuss a possible interrelation between Trojans and short-period comets in terms of the size distribution slope.
