[14.01] WIYN Open Cluster Study: UBVRI Photometry of the Open Cluster NGC 7082

C. E. Smith, C. P. Deliyannis (Indiana University), I. Platais (Johns Hopkins University)

We present precison photometry of open cluster NGC 7082. Literature values for the age of this understudied cluster vary by a factor of ten. Observations were made in the U, B, V, R, and I filters with the WIYN 0.9m telescope at Kitt Peak. PSF photometry was performed using DAOPHOT, and aperature corrections were applied. We present revised values for the reddening, metallicity, distance, and age of the cluster. This project falls under the auspices of the WIYN Open Cluster Study (WOCS), a collaboration between Indiana University, Yale University, the University of Wisconsin, and the National Optical Astronomical Observatories (NOAO). This work is supported by the National Science Foundation under grant AST-0206292.
