We present broad-band V and I images and Halpha+[N II] emission-line maps of ten nearby early-type galaxies observed with the Wide Field Channel (WFC) of the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) as part of the ACS Guaranteed-Time-Observer (GTO) program. The galaxies cover a wide range of velocity dispersions (50-400 km/sec) and three possess nuclear dust and gas disks (ESO 208-G021, NGC 3078, and NGC 3226). The morphology of the dust and ionized gas distributions vary considerably between galaxies, from small compact regions centered on the nucleus to filamentary structures extending throughout the galaxy (~5 kpc). In some cases, the two distributions are spatially correlated. We correlate the line luminosity with physical parameters such as the integrated B magnitude, and the X-ray, radio, and infrared luminosities and examine different line excitation mechanisms, in particular thermal conduction. ACS was developed under NASA contract NAS 5-32865, and this research is supported by NASA grant NAG5-7697.
