Session 26. Followup to Workshop for New Faculty in Physics and Astronomy
Special Session, Monday, May 31, 2004, 2:00-3:30pm, 710/712
This special session is a followup to the annual Workshop for New Faculty in Physics and Astronomy and will focus on issues relevant to
the improvement of teaching and the needs of young faculty as effective
undergraduate and graduate course instructors while surviving the tenure
process. The session consists of four talks followed by a panel
discussion. We encourage the participation of faculty who were unable
to attend the workshops as well as postdocs and advanced graduate
students who are contemplating faculty careers.
