[4.04] How Cuspy Density Profiles Form in Elliptical Galaxies?

F. Cruz, H. Velazquez (Instituto de Astronomia, UNAM.)

We have carried out a set of N-body simulations to explore the scenarios where the galactic cuspy density profiles form in ellipitical galaxies. The first scenario is through collapses starting from cold initial conditions around a preexisting supermassive central black hole (SBH). In the second one, the SBH growth adiabaticaly in a preexisting galaxie. Both scenarios leads a inner power-law profile, \rho-\gamma, with 0.2 \lesssim \gamma \lesssim 2 depending upon the initial or the final mass of the central black hole.
