[148.03] Cosmic Shear Redshift Evolution from The Deep Lens Survey

V. Margoniner, D. Wittman, T. Tyson (UC Davis), Deep Lens Survey Team

We present preliminary results on cosmic shear evolution with redshift from the Deep Lens Survey (DLS). The DLS is a deep BVRz' survey of 20 square degrees, which an observation scheme that maximizes lensing measurements, while providing color information. From the best seeing images we derive shape measurements, and from the multi-band observations we estimate photometric redshifts with an uncertainty of ~10 in (1+z) per galaxy. We present cosmic shear redshift evolution derived from the full depth completion of two 4-square degrees DLS random fields in the sky.
