We are concluding the Chandra Multiwavelength Plane (ChaMPlane) Optical Survey in the current year, of which we started in March 2000 at CTIO. The last run of this five year campaign will be in June 2005 at CTIO. ChaMPlane is a project to systematically identify and analyze the serendipitous X-ray sources in deep galactic plane fields imaged by the Chandra X-ray Observatory in order to determine the populations of accretion-powered binaries in the Galaxy. As an NOAO long-term survey program, ChaMPlane Optical Survey is the optical follow-up using the CTIO and KPNO 4m telescopes to identify counterparts of the Chandra sources for subsequent spectroscopy observations and classifications. To date we have observed 59 Mosaic fields covering 143 Chandra ACIS observations. We summarize our observation, process of data reduction and detection of H\alpha emission objects and Chandra optical counterparts, and give the results of the ChaMPlane GRO J0422+32 field as an example of the ChaMPlane Optical Survey product.
