In standard stellar atmospheres problems the scattering of photons is taken to be isotropic. For some radiative processes, scattering is highly directional, and when these processes dominate, this must be taken into account. This is the case in neutrino radiation hydrodynamics in core collapse supernovae. We show how to adapt the ALI method for use with non-isotropic scattering and present several examples related to the core collapse supernova problem.
