[159.02] Overview of the SOFIA Science Program

SOFIA will be the world's primary far-IR & sub-millimeter observatory for much of the next 20 years, capable of "Great Observatory"-class science, SOFIA will make substantial contributions to our knowledge of subjects as diverse as the history of the Kuiper Belt and star formation in galaxies.
